Jesus golfish cracker

My daughter loves Goldfish crackers, so this one caught my eye. A Goldfish cracker shaped like Jesus on the cross. This one hasn't caught much interest, so it looks like it will be available for cheap.

An auction that just keeps growing

They're calling it the one million dollar auction, and while it's hard to say what the actual total worth will be, it's quite an offering.

Let's see... there's a Sunbird Skier boat, Leather Jacket, Nissan 240, Dodge Ram, House with land, Honda Pilot, HP Laptop... the list goes on. No specifics on any of these items, such as years of the vehicles, size, location or lot size of the house, etc. Looks rather like an interesting way to do an estate sale, just judging by the range of items offered and the clearly used condition of most items. There are probably twenty or more items (no, didn't count them) listed on this already.

Perhaps the most humorous is the inclusion of a date with his sister. Sorry, ladies, most of you probably won't be interested in this part of the auction. On the other hand, if you know someone you really want to fix up with a date it could be a nice bonus... maybe??

Want to debate?

How would you like to win 10 minutes of debate on any topic? That's what this guy is offering. It's ending soon later today.

Now, maybe it's just me, but I'd probably want to debate him on why the mouse when it spins, or something like that. Can't take a guy with a picture like that too seriously. And putting a debate up for auction is a long ways to go to find someone who will talk to you.

Toddler Toys

In celebration of my daughter's birthday today, let's take a look at the toys you can get for toddlers at eBay.

We'll start with her favorite show, Caillou. They're all pretty affordable. At the moment, this collection of poseable characters from the show is the most expensive at less than $25. I wonder how high it will go at the end, since there are a lot of bidders on it. 16+ hours to go as of this writing.

Her favorite toys are the Little People by Fisher Price. Lots of them for sale too. It's kind of interesting seeing how they've changed since I was a kid. Look at this set from 1984 and compare it to the current sets. Lots more detail on the people now.

Finally, it's very interesting to see the various versions of Chutes and Ladders, which is a game she got for her birthday. It's been a popular kids game for such a long time.

Do you enjoy a good mystery?

How about a mystery auction? You never know what exactly you're going to win, but you have to bid to find out. Sounds like fun if you're feeling adventurous. Most have an approximate value, but others even the auctioneer doesn't know quite what they're selling.

There's quite a range of items offered as mystery auctions. Some you have a fair idea as to what you're getting, but don't know the value. One person is auctioning their paycheck, another a piggybank with an unknown amount of money in it, others are auctioning suitcases or boxes with something inside.

The boat John Paul II used is up for auction

The Blue Sapphire is a boat Pope John Paul II used on a visit to Canada in 2002. This is by far the most expensive item connected to the late Pope listed on ebay at this time. The winner gets the boat, a registration form signed by the Pope, some of the chairs he sat in and more.

Part of the proceeds from the auction will be going to a couple charities, so this one's for a good cause too.

Housecleaning in a bikini?

You can get it for at least $1500. No touching or anything else like that, of course, but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who wouldn't mind the view.

Of course, you could always clean the house in a bikini yourself, although in some cases that could be pretty scary.
